Research interests

My main research interest is the history and development of Buddhist thought in the Nikayas and Abhidhamma. I am currently working on two main projects: a series of studies on aspects of the the theory of Buddhist meditation, and a book on Abhidharma provisionally titled "Mapping the MInd: a comparative study of Theravāda and Sarvāstivāda Buddhist Thought".

Teaching

At undergraduate level I teach courses in Buddhism and Hinduism: Foundations of Buddhist Thought and Practice, Divine Love in Hinduism: from bhakti to tantra, Yoga and Meditation, Buddhist Psychology and Mental Health.
