Research interests

Themis's research interests are enhancing the current user computer interaction, by using new technology in order to extent the ways that a user can input or output data from a computer. Themis joined the BIG group in June 2013, and he is currently investigating how levitation of objects in 3D space can be used to give a physical representation of digital data.

Themis is also interested in tracking user behaviour and adapting the interface according to user preferences extracted from monitoring devices like  eye tracker, kinect etc. On his Msc he implemented a system with an eye tracker that could predict the level of understanding of users reading articles on a computer screen.
