BGER Reconfigurable Metamorphic structures for shape changing devices

DescriptionThe goal of this project is to create a hand-held device that can dynamically change its shape into many reconfigurable structures by folding in different ways. More specifically we envision mobile devices made of cubical modules with embedded touchscreens that can shift from a given shape to a new one that fits its new functionality. To achieve this goal we sought to establish research links with the C-design lab of Purdue University with has deep understanding of geometric modelling and rapid prototyping.
