Research interests

Dr Ying-Lung Daniel Ho (YLDH) is an expert in nano-fabrication (additive nano-manufacturing and focused ion beam etching), modelling (Finite-Difference Time-Domain, and plane-wave expansion) and characterisation (Fourier imaging spectroscopy, and confocal microscope system). His research focuses on the study of nanostructures for efficient control of light-matter interaction, for applications in sensor, energy and quantum technology. He has 36 publications, including a book chapter in nanofabrication. He is currently a Research Fellow leading research in direct laser writing.
