Description

The first Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) is to eradicate poverty in all its forms everywhere – this requires countries to measure and reduce multidimensional adult and child poverty. This is a significant challenge in small island states, which due to their size and remoteness often lack the technical capacity to adequately assess multidimensional poverty. This project will support Tonga, Tuvalu and Solomon Islands with the development and application of a valid and reliable multidimensional poverty measure, in order to provide policy makers with the high quality evidence they need to design and implement efficient and effective anti-poverty policies.
