Abstract

This is the postscript to this volume on contemporary continental philosophy and ancient Greek and Roman metaphysics. The editors asked me to consider the relation of metaphysics to ethics in this philosophical interplay. I chose to do so by focusing on a contemporary philosopher who exemplifies the entanglement of these two themes, namely Bernard Stiegler. I offer readings of just two citations by Stiegler, one from Heraclitus, and one from Aristotle.
