Abstract

Presents a study into mandatory reconsideration (MR) of administrative decisions in the context of homelessness. Reviews key features of its practical application, the study's methodology and its main findings on the incidence of legal representation, its significance, the extent to which MR acts as a dispute resolution mechanism and its influence on the quality of decision-making. Suggests the values that should drive design of the MR system.
